Fashion at the Grammys and The BAFTAs

Top looks at the BAFTA’s

3rd Place: Game of Thrones actress, Sophie Turner teamed a black studded top with a silver skirt, which was bang on trend. However, her jewellery really made the outfit stand out as a top look for us here at The Jewellery Superstore. Sophie teamed her outfit perfectly with a long silver pendant and some equally perfect drop earrings.

2nd Place: Amy Adams looked sensational in her emerald green dress, with her matching jewellery. What we loved is that Amy snubbed the classic ‘diamonds’ look and made her own look for the evening. Her emerald earrings and cuff were over-the-top in design but certainly made an amazing statement, making her second placed in our top looks of the night.

1st Place: Well who else, but of course the Princess herself. Kate Middleton attended the BAFTA’s with Prince William, wearing an off-shoulder Alexander McQueen floral dress, pairing with (of course) some exquisite jewellery. Teaming her famous engagement ring with an oversized pair of diamond drop earrings. Whilst Kate could of course look stunning in anything, we think her jewellery made her shine at the BAFTA’s.

Top looks at the Grammys

3rd Place: Queen B – as referred to by fellow popstar Adele, proudly showcased her pregnancy bump at the Grammy awards ensuring that anyone who didn’t know the star was expectant with twins, certainly does now. A diamond pendant complimented her red sequined dress, which made sure she outshone her peers.

2nd Place: From one Queen to another, reigning Queen of country music, Carrie Underwood also rocked a red dress. Carrie looked stunning in a red jewelled number which was paired with some equally beautiful, yet subtle jewels. Carrie kept the jewellery to a minimum however, her stunning hooped earrings made just the right impact to ensure that the look was enough to get her second on our top looks.

1st Place: And of course, a woman who probably needs very little introduction nowadays, Adele. Winning five awards on the evening, and making history to be the first artist to win the top three awards in one night twice (Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year), does she really need to win another? Well, her stunning green Givenchy dress was teamed with some subtle drop earrings, and rocking a diamond brooch which ensured that all eyes were on her throughout the evening.
