Jewellery Trends To Watch For Spring/Summer

Jewellery Trends To Watch For Spring/Summer

We know that it’s a little early to start planning what we’ll be wearing when the weather starts to warm up (after all, we still have a good few months of winter to go yet!) but it’s nice to brighten up those dark evenings with a bit of speculative shopping.

Who What Wear recently picked out some of the top jewellery trends that will be big as we move into spring and summer 2021, based on many of the designer collections that have already been released.

Pearl jewellery, for example, which was a big trend in 2020, is set to stay into next year, with earrings, necklaces and bracelets featuring pearls all expected to be popular in 2021.

Another item to invest in, if you want to be firmly on trend as soon as the weather warms up, is bangles.

“Whether it be bangles stacked to the brim (like those spotted at Chloé), matching pairs (looking at you, Lavin), or single statement ones (ahem, Jaquemus), the evidence has made it very clear that bangles are very much back in business,” the publication asserted.

If you’re interested in getting on board with this particular trend, why not take a look at our selection of bangles jewellery?

When it comes to shapes, spherical pieces are set to be a big trend in spring and summer next year too, the website stated.

Around the time of the spring/summer 2021 fashion shows earlier this year we picked out some trends that we expect to be big in the coming months. They included the mismatched or single earring trend, as well as the resurgence of chunky chain necklaces.
